so many terrible reviews, then saw one positive one citing new management. Welp I went here on a Wednesday at 6.30ish and had zero issues. Staff was friendly and helpful, my fairly complicated order of 4 different combo meals was correct, it wasnt slow, and the food was what I expected. I do think the 3 spices fried rice and chicken was a bit dissapointing (chicken was good but the rice was quite plain and there was no sauce for it, including from the chicken). But the boneless duck breast laksa soup was surprisingly good, and tender, and the portion size was... well, it must have been the ENTIRE duck breast, not a portion, and not a small duck either, nice! Finally, the prices seem to be the same as pre-covid, which is amazing, earned the 5th star thanks to that and the duck despite the meh 3 spice fried rice and chicken.

This is my favourite Bubble Waffle Cafe branch in Richmond as in terms of variety of toppings/food, parking, line ups and service. Love their noodles and food options. Never had a problem finding a seat either. I love this location.

I used the mobile ordering system and it was perfect while I found a table, cause getting a table around this neck of the woods is rough haha. It’s almost like trying to get a seat at crystal mall. I got the chicken laksa combo. It was delicious . The bubble waffle was light and airy. The popcorn chicken was seasoned well. Great lunch!

Fish soup base is well seasoned, not overly salty and have hint of fish (unami?). Not too much MSG. The drink is included with the price. 3 large slices of lemon. Very hot soup and lemon water. The soup temperature remains hot until the last bit of the meal. I like the way they tie the tofu bands (腐竹) into a knot I felt like I had a lot of veggies and meat too! Staff was really friendly - She told me food would be ready in 10 mins , and told me I could come back to take more sugar (for lemon water) if I want. She said “Careful” as I started to lift the tray up. She was kind!

I don't know why the reviews are so low. Maybe it's all the old reviews, but I have recently started going every Sunday when they open. The staff at that time were great and friendly. I always order ahead online cause I know the bubble waffles take a while to make, so I am not waiting 30mins when they are backed up. I always get the make your own noodle soup, and portions are great.

This location is good and more similar to the one at Aberdeen which allow you to customize your noodle soup from base, toppings, and noodle type unlike the one in Richmond Center. Definitely recommend for a basic food court meal. The HK style waffle is really good as well (contains peanut butter but the staff always ask if you have allergies to peanuts) especially if you prefer something softer compared to the bubble waffle.

I have the best Hainanese chicken rice, very tender and juicy, next time I need to order the whole one. Very busy so if are in a rush, be there early.
